Essentially you need a webhost, either free or paid, download Wordpress from Wordpress.org, upload to your webhost, then download Comicpress and upload that as well. This site has a fairly straightforward, easy to understand tutorial.
i know i have to download wordpress but whats a good host to go with? and after i set up an account with a host, how difficult is the set up before I can begin building a site? and last but not least, can i still import the free wordpress templates?
I am using Inanis Glass Theme for Wordpress 2.7. It is a two column theme and I want to add a third column while still using the same theme. I do not know a lot about css and php. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The newer version, 2.8 has just been released and I want to switch…and keep all of my settings, files, plugins, themes, ect.

To make your site not look like a blog, you would have to set a different theme or template. My website is http://www.pomirc.com and that is a wordpress template….
Not familiar with that hosts servers, or the need to manually upload plugins for Word press, but generally you unzip files before uploading them to your server.
I just downloaded word press 2.7 and I’m not sure how to open it. I see a lot of php files, which is good. But how do I access dashboard??? Is this something I have to load on to my domain name first?? Somebody please lend their expertise.
